Full review

Most kids' bikes are scaled-down adult bikes with adult-weight parts bolted on. woom's whole pitch is the opposite: purpose-built geometry, kid-proportioned brake levers, and a frame that weighs barely more than a bag of dog food, so a young rider isn't fighting the bike's own mass to control it.

The five-star average across every review we could see is unusually consistent for a kids' product — parents specifically call out how easy the bike is for their child to handle and how quickly it arrives pre-assembled. It's the most expensive bike in this catalog, and the reviews suggest that price buys real weight savings and component quality rather than brand markup alone.

Pros

  • Exceptionally light at 22.2 lbs — easy for a smaller rider to control
  • Hydraulic disc brakes with kid-sized, adjustable brake levers
  • 8-speed microSHIFT drivetrain for a genuine range of terrain
  • Arrives mostly assembled, straightforward final setup

Cons

  • Premium price for a kids' bike — a significant step up from big-box options
  • No suspension, so it's built for trail-ready riders rather than rough downhill terrain

Great solid + safe bike choice for your kids

This is my 2nd woom bike purchase for my kids. All I can say is wow. It’s a really nice bike, worth every penny. Lightweight, easy to maneuver and my kids LOVE THEM. We also have the 24” woom 5 that has lasted with all 3 of my boys and it still in great condition. If you’re looking for a bike that is solid, safe and will last, woom is it.

Great kids bike

This is a really high quality bike. It's mostly put together when it arrives, you just have to put on the handle bars, seat and pedals. Unboxing, removing all of the protective Styrofoam, and putting it together took about 40 minutes. It looks really nice, I love the kind of matte red color. It definitely stands out amongst over kids bikes. The shifting is easy and smooth. It rides amazingly well and it's lightweight. I can easily pick it up and carry it around. Despite being so lightweight the frame is very solid and well built. The brakes work really well, and I appreciate that they are a mo

Solid and Sleek

This is a great bike. Unlike most mountain bikes on the market, this one is lightweight and sleek. It weighs about 22 lbs, which is ideal for loading and riding uphill. I love the matte red color with the contrasting silver accents in the front and back. It features the classic Woom design with a low seat, providing plenty of flexibility in seat height. The bike is very easy to assemble—just add the handlebars, seat, and pedals. The gear shifting is exceptionally smooth and feels of high quality. This is a high-end bike with a high price, but it justifies the cost. This bike offers good value

Effortless Shifting on Every Trail

Whether you’re tackling neighborhood streets or light off-road paths, this youth bike delivers a smooth 8-gear experience without weighing young riders down. The lightweight frame and responsive brakes instill confidence, making it ideal for both road cruising and beginner mountain adventures. After swapping my daughter’s old bike for this model, her control and stamina took a noticeable leap. The quick-shift mechanism felt intuitive for her smaller hands, and the durable tires handled gravel paths without a hitch. It’s become her go-to ride for afternoon explorations.
