Full review

HILAND's pitch here is accessibility: a step-through frame that makes mounting and dismounting easier (useful for shorter riders or anyone who doesn't want to swing a leg over a top tube), paired with full suspension and an 18-speed drivetrain that's more than adequate for neighborhood trails and commuting.

At $199.99, it undercuts most full-suspension bikes in this catalog, and reviewers who did their homework before buying report being pleasantly surprised — one buyer's two-month update specifically confirms the bike held up beyond the first-ride honeymoon period. The V-brakes (rather than discs) are the main trade-off for the price, and one reviewer noted a cosmetic scratch on arrival.

Pros

  • Full front-and-rear suspension at one of the lowest prices in this catalog
  • Step-through frame is easier to mount and dismount
  • 18-speed drivetrain covers hills and flats comfortably
  • A two-month follow-up review confirms it holds up past the first few rides

Cons

  • V-brakes offer less stopping power in wet conditions than a disc-brake bike
  • One buyer reported a cosmetic scratch on delivery

What buyers say

Buyers who researched before purchasing report being satisfied with both the assembly process and long-term durability; V-brakes and minor cosmetic issues are the only real complaints.

Update after 2 months: Still Good Bike, easy assembly

I did a lot of research before I bought. Not disappointed. Took me about an hour to assemble the bike. It was very straightforward and easy. Watch the video that's on this page and you can also refer to the booklet. Great value. I'm 5'4 and the 26 inch is fine for me. The bike is not too heavy but it is also solid and has weight to it. Some of the roads I ride on are quite bumpy and the suspension works well. Very comfortable. It's a great bike for the money. Update: I had it a couple months. I ride every day about 9 to 10 miles. I ended up having to change the shifter to a clicker. The one th

Great Looking Bike

The bike is beautiful. It came with one small scratch on the inner back wheel, that bummed me out. For $400+, I would have liked to receive a bike without scratches; however, the scratch was small in comparison to some other reviews here. The bike visually lives up to all expectations. I changed out some pieces to make it my own (and for comfort) and I am very happy with it. How Does it Ride: So, I took the bike to a shop be assembled. My first ride was a bit, eh. I really had to play with the gears in order to figure out which was best for me. There were a few times the chains popped off whil

Great bike at great price!!! (when setup properly)

Love this bike! It was a gift for my wife for Mother's Day. She absolutely loves it. Assembly was pretty simple with the exception of the brake setup. It was simple for me because I have quite a bit of experience with tools and making sure things are in sync on mechanical items. If you aren't as skilled with hand tools, you should find resources on the proper way to setup and tune disc brakes on a multi-gear bike. It's not that difficult but if done incorrectly, it can affect the smoothness of the ride. It can also result in catastrophic brake failure (in extreme cases). So better to seek addi

Decent bike wishes part for front brakes weren't missing

A part for the front brakes on the bike are missing but the back brakes are operational. Bike rides great. It does stop just have to only use back brakes. The assembly was decent but not the Greatest. Value was okay. Like I said before gear shifting is alright. Size is perfect durability is good. Bike quality is good
