Editor score breakdown

Full review
The Aftershock is the smallest-wheeled bike in this catalog, and the reviews make clear it's largely being bought for kids and younger teens rather than adults — "granddaughter will love it" is a representative comment. Dual suspension at this size and price is a genuine value-add most 20" bikes skip entirely.
It's also one of the lightest bikes here at 31.2 lbs, which matters more on a smaller frame where a young rider has less leverage to muscle a heavy bike around. Assembly and build quality both get consistent praise across the small review set.
Pros
- Dual suspension is unusual at this wheel size and price
- Light at 31.2 lbs, easy for a smaller rider to handle
- 6-speed grip-shift derailleur for simple, twist-to-shift gearing
- Consistently praised for easy assembly
Cons
- 20" wheels mean it's sized for younger or shorter riders, not adults
- Linear pull brakes rather than discs
What buyers say
Sharp looking bike. Appears to be well made. Went together easy. Granddaughter will love it.
Easy to assemble good quality.
Good product, great price, Amazing seller!
I would not consider this your ideal 20-in bike as the seat is placed in a way that makes it difficult for most children that ride a 20-in bike to touch the ground. The bike quality is good but immediately we had to replace one of the inner tubes. It is a good value for what it cost. Assembly can be a pain in the butt.
